Twitter takeovers often end in disaster and so it proved for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere today.
The 24-year-old took part in a Twitter Q and A with ESPN UK and soon found himself on the end of some fairly scathing abuse from Spurs' fans.
Wilshere, who has just returned to action following a 10-month injury lay-off, is anxiously awaiting Roy Hodgson's England squad announcement for Euro 2016, with reports suggesting he will be included in the 23.
He might need a lift after he was the victim of some vitriolic trolling from rival fans today.
