“Kerry would not win an All-Ireland playing like that”

Brendan Devenney doesn’t believe that The Kingdom would have done enough to challenge potential All-Ireland Finalists Dublin or Mayo with their semi-final victory Tyrone.

As part of our eircom GAA football panel, presented by Marie Crowe of UTV Ireland, eircom Brand Ambassador Devenney and the Sunday World’s John Brennan dissect the weekend’s action as the Football Championship finally exploded to life. They have plenty of praise for Mickey Harte’s youthful Tyrone outfit, but feel that Kerry will have to refine their attacking strategy to compete against one of the other big two on September 20th.

We also look forward to the mouth-watering remaining semi-final where a strong Dublin team will meet their first true test of the Championship against Mayo and the free-scoring Aidan O’Shea.
