Chris David celebrates the late goal that landed one punter over half a million euro

Yesterday's final day of the Premier League may not have been that exciting with Manchester City ruthlessly claiming the Premier League title and relegation decided but for one punter is was an afternoon to remember.

The anonymous punter correctly predicted the results of nine of yesterday's 10 Premier League games sidestepping Sunderland's game with Swansea.

The return was so high because the stake was also an eye watering €1,000.

The bet netted the customer €477,215.63 but a bonus accumulator offer run by the bookie added another €100,000 to the winnings, meaning they took home well over half a million euro.

The Leinster-based punter must have been a very nervous boy until Chris David's late, late equaliser for Fulham guaranteed his side a draw and a huge payout for this gambler.
