Ireland moved top of ICC World T20 Qualifying Group A with a tense five-run win over the United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.
Chasing 139 after Gary Wilson's half-century and 47 from Kevin O'Brien, the UAE were bowled out for 133 one ball from the end of their 20 overs.
A third win in succession leaves Ireland two points ahead of their opponents at the group summit, with Hong Kong also two points behind and with a game in hand.
Ireland lost Paul Stirling and Niall O'Brien in the fourth over and William Porterfield was then run out, but Kevin O'Brien and Wilson put on a decisive 92 in a fourth-wicket stand lasting almost 13 overs.
Kevin O'Brien's run-a-ball innings featured two fours and a six but ended when he was caught by Rohan Mustafa in Manjula Guruge's final over. Wilson remained unbeaten on 53 from 44 balls, with three boundaries.
Muhammad Azam hit the second ball of the UAE reply for six but then holed out off the next, but Shaiman Anwar and Khurram Khan put on 53 for the second wicket to put the home side on top.
Max Sorensen (two for 17) made the vital breakthrough when Khan (35) was caught by John Mooney and Paul Stirling soon removed Anwar as the match swung.
George Dockrell removed Swapnil Patil and Muhammad Shafiq for figures of two for 21 but t wo sixes from Amjad Javed put the game back in the balance, with Mustafa going well at the other end.
But Trent Johnston's yorkers caused problems and after two run-outs and with six needed from two balls, Guruge was bowled for a golden duck and Ireland snatched the win.
