David Herity: Kilkenny's new goalkeeper has made waves in his two appearances.
Paul Murphy: Left the under 21 grade in 2009 and has ticked off two senior championship appearances, and has scored a point.
Paddy Hogan: Has also made two appearances and seen 105 minutes action.
Colin Fennelly: An under 21 winner from 2008, Fennelly has clocked up two appearances, and managed to chip in with 1-1.
Matthew Ruth: Another graduate of the 2008 under 21 side, Ruth has made one brief championship appearance to date.
John Mulhall: Made four substitute appearances in last year's championship and two this year giving him a combined total of 53 minutes championship experience and 0-1 to his credit.
James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick: Still only 26, Fitzpatrick has only 196 minutes of championship hurling in the past three years but has bounced back to form on the training ground in recent weeks.
Eddie Brennan: Would still be the first name on most other inter-county forward lines, but only got 10 minutes against Dublin and despite scoring 2-3 in four games last season, didn't see the 70 minutes in any of them.
John Dalton: Due to an eight-week ban, Dalton (26) hasn't featured in the championship yet this year. Despite starting and finishing all four games in 2010, he didn't play in the Leinster final.
