Statisticians were on their starter's orders after this facile victory for Fermanagh at Cavan's 3G pitch. The Ernesiders were simply a class apart against opponents shorn of 12 first-team players and who also had to deal with having two players sent off in the second half.
Brendan McGarry and Sean Corrigan did the damage with a combined tally of 6-4, McGarry bagging 3-3 and Corrigan 3-1. Francis McBrien (1-2) also got in on the act, with the game over as a contest at half-time as Fermanagh led 4-10 to 0-7.
