Too easy for Roscommon

Published 17/03/2014 | 02:30

Roscommon simply steamrolled a very poor Fermanagh side at Brewster Park.

It took Fermanagh 32 minutes to even register a score, by which stage Roscommon had 2-9 on the board.

Naos Connaughton raised the first green flag within two minutes, with the dangerous Robbie Fallon netting the second after a quarter of an hour.

Fergus Bannon was one of the few Fermanagh players to offer any fight in the first half and he finished the game with three points.

Roscommon emptied their bench, with substitute Brendan Kelly hitting two goals.
