Tipperary overcome Galway in Ballinasloe

A flurry of points from Tommy Heffernan and Niall O'Meara enabled Tipperary to overcome Galway in Ballinasloe and book a place in the final against Kilkenny.
This refixed semi-final -- Tipp won the initial meeting but fielded ineligible players -- looked to be heading Galway's way when they led by nine points at the interval in regular time.
However, Tipp rallied to level before pulling away in extra-time with three points apiece from Heffernan and O'Meara.
