Tipp braced for battle

Kilkenny sit top of Group 1 Division 1 of the National Camogie League after their 3-4 to 1-6 win over Cork.

Ann Downey's side have been impressive in the scoring stakes, grabbing eight goals in two games with attackers Aoife Neary and Deirdre Delaney sharing the spoils.

Last year's All-Ireland finalists now await the winners of Cork and Tipperary, who play for a spot in the semi-finals this weekend.

Tipp manager Eoin Brislane will have a full panel to pick from and will hope that Jill Horan and Claire Grogan are in scoring form to ensure a place in the last four.

Wexford play a Clare who are looking for their first league campaign points, while Dublin take on Galway with the winners proceeding to the semi-finals.
