Stapleton back for Tipperary

GAELIC GAMES: All-Ireland champions Tipperary have recalled Paddy Stapleton for Sunday's Munster SHC final against Waterford at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

While Tipperary beat Clare by nine points in the Munster semi-final, Declan Ryan was concerned by the concession of 1-19, and the manager has decided to recall Stapleton -- who came on as a sub against Clare -- at right corner-back, with John O'Keeffe moving to right wing-back at the expense of David Young.

Ryan has resisted the temptation to start fit-again midfielder Brendan Maher as Gearoid Ryan continues alongside Shane McGrath in the middle.

Waterford boss Davy Fitzgerald is expected to announce his team tomorrow night.

TIPPERARY (SH v Waterford) -- B Cummins; P Stapleton, P Curran, M Cahill; J O'Keeffe, C O'Mahony, Padraic Maher; G Ryan, S McGrath; S Callanan, N McGrath, Patrick Maher; E Kelly, J O'Brien, L Corbett.
