Ruairc downs North Dubs

A late surge from Colaiste Eoin put them into the semi-finals at the expense of North Dublin in Ayrfield.

Eoin started well as Oisin Ruairc and Aran Murchu scores were cancelled out by Ross Mullins and Ciaran Kilkenny, but the southsiders were soon back in front with Marc Schutte sending over a lovely score.

Two Eoin scores each side of a John Hetherton free increased the lead to two but then Dublin North scored 1-2, culminating in Kilkenny's goal just before the break as Eoin were left trailing 1-6 to 0-6 at the interval.

But after back-to-back points from Ruairc, Alex Pilkington then drew Eoin level early in the second half. Dublin North managed to stay in touch but Colaiste Eoin then pulled away in the final minutes with Murchu, Schutte and Ruairc scoring to seal the victory.
