Power surge too much for 'Comer

St Kieran's College 2-14
Castlecomer CS 2-7
Leinster Coll sHC 'a' s/f

A goal five minutes from time by John Power, brother of Kilkenny star Richie, sealed victory for St Kieran's College on Saturday.

Power's first goal after 14 minutes gave them the upper hand and, with some good point scoring by Conor O'Shea and Power, St Kieran's led 1-10 to 0-6 at the break. A Charlie Dwyer brace of goals got 'Comer back into things after the break.

Kieran's regained their composure, but they weren't in the clear until Power completed his brace.
