LIKE everybody else in Tipperary, I was pleased to hear about Eamon O'Shea's appointment as the county's new senior hurling team manager.
Eamon (right) is a man that we all hold in high regard -- he was coach when we won the All-Ireland in 2010. He was the name on everybody's lips before he was ratified at Tuesday night's county board meeting. I'd like to compliment the county board on getting their business done in a quick and efficient manner.
As for my own future with Tipperary, I can't really speculate at this point in time as my entire focus has returned to the club.
Fortunately, Thurles Sarsfields are through to the county semi-finals, where we'll play Eire Og Annacarty on Sunday week. And we certainly won't be taking our opponents for granted.
