O'Neill duo rescue 14-man Columcille

Two goals in a sparkling four-minute second-half spell at Ballyconnell proved pivotal as 14-man Columcille (Tyrone) booked their place in the All-Ireland club JHC final, beating Calry/St Joseph's 2-7 to 0-10.

Niall O'Neill's '65, which went all the way to the net in the 46th minute, and Rory O'Neill's opportunist effort four minutes later, proved more than enough to ease the Saints home despite two late Keith Raymond frees.

Elsewhere, the difference in class was enormous as Blacks and Whites (Kilkenny) sauntered into a semi-final against Blackrock (Limerick) by hammering John Mitchells (Warwickshire) 4-19 to 0-2 in a one-sided quarter-final.
