Omens good for Dublin

EARLY days for Dublin hurling, but Anthony Daly will be most encouraged by the form of new recruits Ryan O'Dwyer and Conal Keaney, while Shane Ryan is showing signs that he could make much more of an impact this year.
It was the two former Dublin footballers, Keaney and Ryan, who scored the two late points which beat Galway in the Walsh Cup last Saturday, while Tipperary import O'Dwyer scored 1-3.
The next big test comes on Sunday against Kilkenny, who will pose even tougher questions. If the trio pass that, Dublin will head into the league with real optimism.
