O'Dwyer splitting Cashel loyalties

Hard though it may be to imagine, Liam has encountered a little pocket of split loyalties in Tipperary as the Premier county prepare for Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final against Dublin.
A recent encounter with a group of former county players hinted that Cashel may exist as something of an independent republic this week in light of Ryan O'Dwyer's sparkling summer form for Anthony Daly's Sky Blues.
O'Dwyer, who has been hurling with Kilmacud Crokes since last year's move to a teaching post in Templeogue, speaks of his Cashel roots at every opportunity and that fact hasn't been lost on his home town.
Now whether it extends to hoping he gets to play in the All-Ireland final is a different matter.
