ANTRIM recorded their second win in a row under new boss Kevin Ryan as they eased past DIT at Casement Park.
On a bitterly cold night, the sides traded early scores and were level at 0-3 apiece after 15 minutes, before Paul Shiels set up Neil McManus to put Antrim into a lead they would hold until the final whistle.
McManus poked to the net at the second attempt to open up a 1-10 to 0-6 half-time advantage and the Saffrons picked up where they left off after the break. Trailing by 0-11, DIT staged a mini-revival and hit 1-3 to Antrim's 0-1 – Mike Moloney with the goal on 49 minutes.
However, they were not to score again as Antrim skipper McManus hit six of his side's last nine scores to seal an easy win.
