INSPIRED by Tipperary minor star John McGrath, Our Lady's Templemore booked their place in the final following an absorbing replay in Nenagh.

Our Lady's held a 0-9 to 0-7 interval lead, with Ardscoil Ris left to rue missing two gilt-edged goal chances.

Within seconds of the restart Our Lady's were five clear thanks to a sublime McGrath goal.

McGrath's accuracy from placed balls helped keep Our Lady's in front despite Ardscoil battling to get back on terms with a raft of long-range Ronan Lynch frees.

Cian Lynch gave Our Lady's a scare when he clipped the upright with a last-gasp effort.

Our Lady's now face Dungarvan Colleges in the final.

"Dungarvan Colleges will be red-hot favourites, but we'll prepare as best we can and give it a good lash anyway," coach Tom Byrnes said.
