McGarry goal the key

A goal late in the first half from Brendan McGarry gave Fermanagh the impetus to go on and win this well-fought National League encounter in Enniskillen.
Leitrim had started much the better team with midfielder Clement Cunniffe in great form in the first half, knocking over a total of five points.
But as the game wore on, Leitrim failed to deal with Fermanagh's sharpshooter Paul McGoldrick who would prove the difference between the sides.
And helped by McGarry's well-taken goal, a brilliant save from goalkeeper Peter McEvoy from Leitrim's Liam Burns and a 10-point haul from McGoldrick, Fermanagh ground out the win and picked up a precious two points in their first game of the campaign.
