Just three points separated the sides with 15 minutes left, but Armagh rattled off 2-4 without reply, the goals coming from Conor Corvan and Cathal Carvill.

Fermanagh had their own sharp-shooters as Sean Corrigan hit 3-2, including two goals inside the first 15 minutes, and Declan McGarry grabbed a brace of goals in the second half.

Armagh were three points up at the break after efforts from Michael Lennon, Ryan Gaffney and McCormack.

Fermanagh, however, hit back and when McGarry landed his second goal to level things up, a shock was on the cards.

But Armagh clicked into a higher gear and scored 4-5 to Fermanagh's 1-1 in the final 13 minutes to seal the win.
