McCarthy's courtesy calls well overdue
JUSTIN McCarthy finally decided it was good to talk when he phoned members of the 2009 Limerick hurling panel last Friday. Two days later, he watched as his inexperienced squad turned in a brave effort which came up a point short against Offaly.
Now, if only he had made those calls late last year, Limerick might be in a very different position than they currently are. The moral of the story? Silence isn't always golden.
