While his colleagues opted for various places from Alaska to Australia, Lapland to Las Vegas, New Zealand to New York and Cancun to China as the location they would most like to visit, James 'Cha' Fitzpatrick named the Moon as his favoured destination in the press pack for this year's All-Ireland hurling final.

Now that he has quit the Kilkenny panel, he will indeed have to more time to reflect on the Sea of Tranquility, landing site of Apollo 11 (that's assuming you believe anybody ever made it to the Moon!) back in 1969.

And how's this for a coincidence? The geological description of the Sea of Tranquility notes that "whenever colour is processed and extracted from multiple photographs, it gives off a slightly bluish shade".

Surely a sign that 'Cha' is destined to end up with Dublin. It's written in the stars, or at least on the Moon.
