FORMER Kildare player Conor Kenny has been included in the Tipperary squad for their Allianz Hurling League campaign.
Kenny, originally from Celbridge, has to be satisfied with a place on the bench for Sunday's match against Waterford in Semple Stadium, with Cathal Barrett the only debutant at right corner-back.
John O'Brien has been omitted from the squad while Paul Curran has been excluded because of a hip injury.
Pa Bourke, Brian O'Meara and Donagh Maher are among the others who have been excluded from the 26- man squad, but Eoin Kelly and Lar Corbett have been included.
Corner-back Cathal Barrett, Pádraic Maher's younger brother Ronan and Liam McGrath from county champions Loughmore-Castleiney are among the other newcomers.
Aidan Walsh makes his senior hurling debut for Cork against Limerick as Jimmy Barry-Murphy includes 10 of the team that started the All-Ireland final replay against Clare.
Meanwhile, Joe Kernan has expressed his "disappointment" that there will be no Armagh players in his inter-provincial squad to play Leinster in Navan on Sunday.
Kernan had intended selecting his own Crossmaglen clubmate Jamie Clarke, Ciaran McKeever and Kevin Dyas for the game but has been informed that none of the trio are available. Kernan said as far as he was aware none of the players he intended to invite are currently injured.
"I've just been told they are unavailable. I'm disappointed but we have a strong squad otherwise," he said.
Armagh do have an extensive injury list however and with just one point from their opening two league games their next game against Meath in Navan is being viewed with critical importance.
Meanwhile, Marc Ó Sé will make his seasonal return for Munster on Sunday as they travel to Tuam to play Connacht.
Ó Sé is included in a Munster squad that contains only players from Cork and Kerry because of the decision of players from the other four counties to make themselves unavailable in protest at the Munster Council vote to seed the big two for this year's Munster championship.
London will be represented by their captain Mark Gottsche on the Connacht squad.
Leinster have yet to finalise a squad but it is expected to be heavily populated with players from All-Ireland champions Dublin. Michael Darragh Macauley, Cian O'Sullivan, Philly McMahon and Ciaran Kilkenny are among those committed to playing though Stephen Cluxton is unavailable.
