Kilkenny leads North

Dublin North 2-18
St Brendan's CS 1-7

Two first-half goals from Ciaran Kilkenny sent Dublin North on their way to victory at the new Thornton Sports Complex on Clontarf Road yesterday.

St Brendan's finished the half with late points from Seamus O'Connor and Andrew Connolly, but still trailed 2-10 to 0-3 at the break.

Dublin North added two points early in the second half through Denis Forde to stretch their lead to 15 points and, despite a late Brendan's rally, ran out comfortable winners in the end.
