James McGrath in charge of All Ireland hurling replay

The GAA has confirmed the referee and match officials for the hurling All-Ireland final repaly on September 28 with James McGrath being appointed as referee between Clare and Cork.

It will be James McGrath’s second senior assignment, having previously taken charge of the 2012 Replay final between Kilkenny and Galway.

The Turin clubman has also refereed the All-Ireland Hurling Minor final in 2009 and Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling All-Ireland U21 final in 2010.

Offaly’s Brian Gavin will be the standby referee with Johnny Ryan (Tipperary) as the other linesman and the sideline official will be Alan Kelly (Galway).
