Wicklow's hurlers completed their unbeaten run with a massive 22-point win over Louth at Arklow yesterday.
Wicklow dominated from the word go, had their first point by Chris Kavanagh after a minute, had their two first half goals after five minutes, scored by inside-forwards Christy Moorehouse and Don Hyland, and thereafter there was only going to be one result to this match.
Full-forward Hyland was Wicklow's top scorer with 1-6, while Jonathan O'Neill added six points when he came on for the second half, his total made up of three frees, a '65, a line ball and one from play.
Wicklow led by 2-10 to 0-4 at the break and O'Neill kept piling on the agony for Louth throughout the second half with his accuracy from frees.
