Harps looking to continue hot streak
Although The Harps of Laois are a relatively young camogie club, their incredible achievements to date have put them firmly on the camogie map.
Recently they claimed an incredible fourth successive senior county title following a replay with St Brigid's, and remarkably this weekend they hope to advance to a fourth consecutive Leinster junior club championship final when they play away to Meath champions Kilmessan.
With three All-Ireland club titles already in the bag, The Harps are recognised as one of the most formidable teams in the club championship. What makes the story all the more intriguing is that the camogie club is only 15 years old.
The Harps' star players include Louise and Áine Mahony and have already defeated Myshall in the provincial quarter-final.
But playing at home, Kilmessan will look to Sarah Ross, Caoimhe O'Leary and Lisa Horan, who impressed against Donard/Glen last weekend.
The other semi-final is between St Laurence's Kildare and Offaly's Drumcullen with the Leinster junior club final on October 10.
