AN experimental Meath outfit extended their 100pc record with an easy victory at Pairc Tailteann.
Having already secured a final spot against London, Meath made seven changes.
Armagh, fighting to avoid relegation, were well in contention at half-time. Their challenge evaporated in the second half, but they managed to retain their divisional status ahead of Roscommon.
Defensive errors led to early goals from Mark O'Sullivan and Barry Slevin as the hosts raced into a 2-2 to 0-2 lead.
Matthew Lennon notched five points for the Orchard County, while Conor Corvan had a penalty saved early on, but the visitors got a boost when Ciaran Reid netted. That left it 2-7 to 1-6 to the Royals at the break.
Bart Hanley's goal on 38 minutes soon put Meath out of reach.
