There was drama galore last night as Banagher College needed extra-time to see off Borris in the Leinster VS SHC semi-final.

Both sides played their part in a fine encounter, with Banagher's Trevor Moran firing over 14 points and Borris man Martin Kavanagh hitting 2-10.

Banagher looked to have sealed the deal in normal time, but a Kavanagh goal at the death sent the tie to extra-time. But Sean Gardiner hit an extra-time goal and Banagher never looked back.

It was a fiery encounter, featuring seven yellow cards. Pat Camon was excellent for Banagher at centre-back, with Joe O'Connor superb at midfield.

Tempers flared late on with players and subs piling in to a fight. When the dust settled, Banagher emerged as deserving winners.
