In today’s other semi-final UCC came from behind to beat CIT 1-13 to 1-11 at the Mardyke in an all-Cork affair.
CIT led at the break thanks, largely to a Ciaran Sheehan goal and UCC’s 10 first half wides, by 1-6 to 0-7.
UCC finally started to find their range in the second period and a Brian O’Sullivan goal got them back in it before they asserted and eventually won.
