SHANE Fennell slotted an injury-time penalty over the bar to snatch an unlikely win for 13-man Louth in Dundalk.
The home side were never ahead throughout an absorbing game of hurling.
However, Fermanagh spurned a glorious opportunity to take control after Nigel Stanley picked up a second yellow card with 20 minutes left and Ronan Byrne followed him to the line on a straight red soon afterwards as Louth battled bravely to take the spoils.
