Clare in crisis
Tuesday November 03 2009
The Clare hurling crisis has intensified, with the majority of players passing a vote of no confidence in manager Mike McNamara and his backroom team.
It's understood that all but one of the panel members favoured a change of management after disastrous league and championship campaigns this year.
Clare failed to win a game in the league and lost two championship matches before defeating Wexford in a relegation semi-final.
But McNamara received the backing of the county board to remain in charge for the 2010 season.
