Two early goals from Noreen Coen and Martina Conroy set the Tribeswomen on their way and although Lucinda Gahan pulled one back for Kilkenny, Sarah Noone got Galway's third.

Colette Dormer grabbed a second for Kilkenny but there was no doubting the outcome by then.

Antrim claimed their first 'B' title when they beat Roscommon 1-9 to 0-3, also at Navan. Substitute Louise McAleese scored the Antrim goal near the end.
