CAMOGIE : Galway class sees Antrim draw blank

GALWAY breezed into the All-Ireland semi-final when they completely outshone Antrim 9-26 to 0-0 in the Foras na Gaeilge championship played as part of the Páirc Tailteann centenary celebrations on Saturday.
Ahead 1-2 after just five minutes thanks to a goal from Brenda Kerins, the writing was on the wall for Antrim from the first whistle.
Tipperary will join Galway in the last four after two Claire Grogan points in injury-time saw the Premier County edge out Kilkenny 3-8 to 2-10.
A determined Kilkenny side made a great start when Caitriona Carey, sister of the legendary DJ, crashed the sliotar to the net for the opening goal in the 14th minute.
