Callanan signals medal ambitions

Always nice to see players signpost their long-range ambitions so Liam was mightily impressed to read Seamus Callanan's 'Player Profile' in the Tipperary-Clare programme last Sunday.

Asked where he hoped to be in 10 years' time, he replied: "Counting my county final and All-Ireland medals in The Ragg Bar!"

Still on match programmes, Sam is happy to point out to Dublin supporters who suffer from paranoia -- in the form of believing that every other county is 'agin' them -- that they can definitely delete Armagh and Derry from the list.

In response to the question of which county, apart from their own, they would like to see do well, both Kevin McGuckin (Derry) and Andy Mallon (Armagh) answered: "Dublin."
