Adrian Breen's 59th-minute goal helped the Limerick side to overcome Kilkenny CBS by 3-13 to 2-11 in yesterday's semi-final at Templemore.

In a titanic tussle, Ard Scoil Ris led by 1-10 to 1-5 at the interval with Kevin Downes netting their goal, but Kilkenny CBS bounced back on the restart.

A Cathal Kenny point edged CBS to a 1-11 to 2-9 lead with 13 minutes remaining, but Ard Scoil showed great character with Breen's late strike paving the way for victory.

St Kieran's, meanwhile, required extra-time to get over the determined challenge of Presentation College Athenry in Moate on a final score of 0-16 to 0-13.
