Portaferry had 14 points to spare in the second semi-final over provincial debutants Swatragh at Casement Park.
The Derry champions were reduced to 14 men in the 43rd minute when Ruairi Convery received a straight red, but Portaferry were already well in control and will now meet Loughgiel in the final.
The Down champions took a 0-8 to no score lead after 19 minutes as Swatragh struggled with the pace of the game. The Derry men had a chance to pull themselves back into the game from a penalty, but Michael Kirkpatrick's effort was well saved by Karol Keating to keep a 10-point advantage going into the break.
Swatragh cut the gap to seven just after the restart when Convery found the net, but five unanswered scores, four from Paul Braniff, eased Portaferry into the final.
