Bennetts star in Ballysaggart stroll

Ballysaggart 4-13 Calry/St Joseph's 0-8

Waterford's Ballysaggart booked a date with Kickhams Creggan in the final following the dismissal of Calry/St Joseph's at O'Connor Park in Tullamore.

The Bennett brothers scored 3-10 in a marvellous display as Ballysaggart dominated the first half with goals from Stephen Bennett, in the 14th and 25th minute, the second from a '65'.

Keith Raymond, Conor Griffin and Eolan McCarthy pointed for Calry/St Joseph's, but Shane Bennett hit the net in injury-time to leave a 17-point gap between the sides at the interval.

Raymond pointed four times, while Liam Reidy also managed to raise a white flag for Calry/St Joseph's.

Kieran Bennett excelled, scoring two magnificent points. Ronan Walsh rattled the Calry/St Joseph's net for a fourth time, while Stephen Bennett and Michael Kearney also got in on the scoring act, as the Waterford men set up a date with the Antrim side.
