There would hardly be a more intriguing runner in a four-year-old-plus Flat maiden all year than Hidden Universe, which Dermot Weld has entered for a lowly two-mile heat at Navan on Wednesday.

Three times a bumper winner, the 2010 Punchestown Champion Bumper hero was successful over flights at Leopardstown in December, before rounding off the last campaign by taking second in the Champion Novice Hurdle at Punchestown. While Hidden Universe struggled on his reappearance in the Galway Hurdle, Wednesday's race is a far more winnable target.
