Mark Walsh completed a treble at Sligo yesterday to maintain his recent run of successes.
Walsh steered Perfect Woman (3/1 fav) to victory in the opening Beginners' Chase - but only after some late drama.
Jesmond Lodge was proving a tough nut to crack out in front and still appeared to hold a marginal advantage when approaching the final fence.
However, a crashing fall saw her hand victory to Mick Winters' mare who went on to score by two-and-a-half lengths.
Walsh completed a quick double 30 minutes later as Badgerfort stayed on best of all to get the better of Vicangelome by half a length in the Frank O'Beirne Memorial Beginners' Chase.
He then brought up the treble aboard Shantou Flyer (9/10 fav) which just prevailed following a terrific finish to the Foley's Bar & Off Licence Chase.
Racegoers were treated to some dramatic finishes all afternoon and this one was no different with the well-backed market leader just getting the better of Shadow Catcher by half a length following a protracted duel.
All of the jockeys in the Frank O'Beirne Memorial Beginners' Chase were found guilty of disobeying the starter and causing a false start and were suspended for between two and three days.
