Richard Hughes gets a five-day ban for hitting third-placed Swift Blade six times in the final furlong.

Natalia Gemelova gets a seven-day ban for hitting For Life seven times in the final furlong.

Pat Cosgrave gets a five-day ban for hitting short-head runner-up Marcus Antonius eight times.

Kempton

William Buick gets a five-day ban for hitting unplaced Ghostwriting eight times.

Thursday

Kempton

Richard Hughes gets 10-day ban for hitting More Than Words six times in the final furlong.

Wincanton

Harry Skelton is the first jump jockey to be sanctioned when he receives a five-day ban for hitting quarter-length second El Diego nine times.

yesterday

Redcar

Declan Cannon was found guilty of breaching new regulations. Cannon rode Categorical to finish second and was found guilty of using his whip with excessive frequency and was banned for five days.

Haydock

Apprentice Antioco Murgia was found by the stewards to have used his whip with excessive frequency aboard runner-up My Destination and was suspended for five days.

Sophie Doyle was handed an 11-day ban for her ride on Opus Maximus, which finished fourth in the one-mile handicap.

•Sanctions include forfeited riding fees and purse percentages.
