Smullen expects Time Test to become Grade One horse for Brown
Time Test, a high-class ten-furlong horse last year for Roger Charlton, has joined Chad Brown in the US.
Time Test won the Group Two York Stakes in July last year under Pat Smullen and Juddmonte's Garrett O'Rourke has also confirmed to the Irish Independent that Forge, another Khalid Abdullah-owned son of Dubawi, has left Michael Stoute to join Bill Mott, who trained Cigar.
Smullen said of Time Test: "He is a very, very good horse, just under Group One-class. His Eclipse run when a close third to The Ghurka last year was very good.
"The style of US racing will suit him down to the ground: he's a top-of-the-ground horse with a big future. He's very straightforward but just likes a good pace to run at so the American style will suit him.
"He's very well-balanced and I expect he will be a Grade One horse in the States."
