Connections of Forpadydeplasterer are keen to try the Queen Mother Champion Chase runner-up over three miles in the King George VI Chase at Kempton.
The St Stephen's Day showpiece is likely to be the target for the eight-year-old, though trainer Tom Cooper has not ruled out another crack at Cheltenham in March.
"One of the fastest times for the Champion Chase in 25 years was in 2010, which gives us lots of options," said Cooper. "He had 12 weeks out and he won't run before November. If the owners are anxious to give him a chance over three miles, I suppose the ideal place would be Kempton."
