Champion trainer Willie Mullins is looking forward to seeing how far Mystic Theatre can go this winter after the exciting mare extended her unbeaten record over jumps to four in yesterday's Pat Walsh Memorial EBF Mares Hurdle at Gowran Park.

The six-year-old was 2/5 favourite stepped up to Listed class for a race the Closutton supremo had won the two previous years with Daisy's Gift and Airlie Beach. Mystic Theatre looks set to follow their hoofprints after putting her rivals to the sword by 10 lengths in the hands of Ruby Walsh.

Mullins got his day off to the best possible start as Walsh guided evens favourite Sharjah home by five lengths in the opening maiden hurdle.

Ainsi Va La Vie's victory in the Listed Mucklemeg Mares Bumper sealed the Mullins' hat-trick. The 5/4 favourite travelled with ease under son Patrick, who eased his mount ahead of early leader Masons Daughter before sauntering home by two lengths from stablemate Glens Harmony.
