Minding set to face four rivals in Nassau
Minding will face a maximum of four rivals as she goes in search of a sixth Group One victory in tomorrow's Qatar Nassau Stakes at Goodwood.
Aidan O'Brien's star filly has already made two successful British trips earlier in the year, landing the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket before following up with a breathtaking victory in the Oaks at Epsom.
The daughter of Galileo arrives here on the back of a bloodless triumph in the Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh and will be a hot favourite to add in this ten-furlong event.
French raider Jemayel also brings Group One-winning form to the table after claiming the Prix Saint-Alary for Jean-Claude Rouget, but she disappointed in the French Oaks.
Godolphin rely upon Beautiful Romance, fifth in the Hardwicke Stakes last time, while John Gosden saddles Swiss Range, which was just ahead of Jemayel in the French Oaks. Michael Stoute's Queen's Trust completes the line-up after finishing fourth in the Ribblesdale at Ascot.
Meanwhile, Ascot will stage this year's Qipco Champion Stakes on a newly-configured inner course in order to ensure the best possible ground for the October 15 centrepiece.
Running rails will be put in position to create a track, which will not have been watered through the summer.
