Master stock rising fast
Master Of Hounds is proving increasingly popular ahead of tomorrow's Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster as Aidan O'Brien bids to continue his excellent recent record in the race.
Johnny Murtagh will ride Master Of Hounds, with Seville being partnered by Colm O'Donoghue.
O'Brien's pair feature among a strong Irish challenge, with Casamento and Dunboyne Express the top two in the betting at this stage.
Mick Halford's Casamento, which ran away with the Beresford Stakes at The Curragh on his latest start, will be ridden by Frankie Dettori, while the Kevin Prendergast-trained Dunboyne Express is unbeaten in two starts.
Brian Meehan's Titus Mills and Ed Dunlop's Native Khan also arrive with perfect records, with Dubawi Gold, Karam Albaari, Zaidan and Toolain completing the line-up.
The only withdrawal from the five-day stage was O'Brien's Treasure Beach.
Rip Van Winkle, meanwhile, will embark on a stud career at Coolmore after a slight setback ruled him out of a trip to the Breeders' Cup.
The four-year-old, which won both the Sussex and Queen Elizabeth II Stakes last year and landed the 10-furlong Juddmonte International at York this term, was last seen when finishing a narrow second in the QEII and had been due to tackle the Breeders' Cup Mile next month after finishing 10th in the Classic last year.
