Kirsty Milczarek said at Lingfield today that she had been found guilty of "one particular thing but not a ride" at the British Horseracing Authority hearing into alleged corruption.
The disciplinary panel of the BHA have yet to release details of findings relating to those involved individuals in the hearing, but Milczarek spoke to reporters after riding Microlight to success in the fifth race at Lingfield.
She told At The Races: "I've just spoken to my solicitor a couple of times. We are going for an appeal. It's my livelihood. I was found guilty on one particular thing but not a ride, which I'm pleased about."
Milczarek's charges related to her ride aboard Obe Gold at Lingfield on August 15, 2009.
Trained at the time by Debbie Mountain, Milczarek finished fifth on the even-money favourite in a six-furlong seller.
Milczarek said her solicitor would be issuing a press release.
