1988: Joins Jimmy FitzGerald and starts British career.
July 1992: Fined £240 for striking horse "in an offensive manner" and further £200 for not turning up at subsequent inquiries.
March 1993: Cements association with Jack and Lynda Ramsden after riding High Premium to land gamble in the Lincoln.
Sept 1994: Banned for six months after pulling Stuart Webster from his horse at Beverley.
August 1996: Henry Cecil announces Fallon will be his stable jockey for 1997.
May 1997: Wins first Classic: the 1,000 Guineas on Sleepytime
Nov 1997: Crowned champion jockey for first time.
February 1998: Awarded total damages of £70,000 after suing The Sporting Life for libel over Top Cees' victory in Chester Cup three years before.
June 1999: Completes Oaks-Derby double on Ramruma and Oath
July 1999: Relationship at Warren Place ends due to personal issues with Cecil.
September 1999: Lands job with Michael Stoute for 2000 season
May 2000: Wins first Classic for Stoute - the 2,000 Guineas on King's Best
June 2000: Ruled out for season after career-threatening shoulder injury sustained in fall from Alhawa at Royal Ascot
October 2001: Stoute ends contract with Fallon due to the wishes of yard's high-profile owners.
May 2002: Temporary suspension of patronage of Saeed Suhail and Maktoum Al Maktoum after losing ride on hot favourite Gallant Boy at Goodwood.
January 2003: Enters rehab clinic after admitting drink problem and undergoes 30-day treatment programme.
June 2003: Lands huge public gamble with Kris Kin in Derby; regarded as Lester Piggott's heir as Epsom king.
March 2004: Beaten short head on Ballinger Ridge who, after leading by ten lengths, was eased prematurely and caught on the line by Rye.
June 2004: Back at Epsom, Classic double with North Light and Ouija Board.
Sept 2004: Racing world rocked as Fallon is detained in police investigation into corruption within the sport and race-fixing. Released on bail.
Feb 2005: Named as Jamie Spencer's successor as Aidan O'Brien's stable jockey after being headhunted by Coolmore.
Oct 2005: Rounds off superb season with Group 1 treble on Arc day, with main event on Hurricane Run.
