Jock scores for Collins

IN-FORM Curragh handler Tracey Collins bagged another winner when Prince Jock defied top weight in the Tim Kelly Electrical Handicap at Ballinrobe.

Having shed 3lb since disappointing at Galway, the three-year-old colt revelled in a ding-dong battle with The Seanachie rounding the bend.

Pat Shanahan's mount won that argument, and then kept on manfully to tidily hold off Kims Dream by a neck.

Much-vaunted jockey Keagan Latham secured his first Ballinrobe success when Anna Montana (6/1) struck in the Flannery's Bistro Claiming Race.

Ger Lyons' charge enjoyed a dream run along the far rail and kept on resolutely close home to score by three lengths.

Regal Obligation (8/1) will revert to hurdling after her feisty success in the Ballinrobe Musical Society All-Ireland Winners Handicap.

Tom Hogan's dual-purpose campaigner made most of the running in the hands of Wayne Lordan and prevailed by a neck from the fast-finishing Torina.

Golden Nugget (8/1) atoned for a lacklustre run at Roscommon last time when taking the Costello McDermott Handicap.
