Harty happy with aintseenothingyet
aintseenothingyet maintained his progression with an impressive triumph in Fairyhouse's two-and-a-half-mile maiden hurdle yesterday.
The Eddie Harty-trained 3/1 shot was never too far from the pace under Barry Geraghty - who was having his only ride of the day - and went to the front two out but stayed on strongly to pass the post with two-and-a-half lengths in hand of Space Cadet.
"He's a lovely, big horse and very raw," said Harty. "His future is over fences next season, and we'll find something for him over hurdles in the meantime. He's a baby.
"It's hard to know how far he'll stay but he has enough toe for two miles."
Altiepix took the spoils in the beginners' chase with a workmanlike display. The 8/11 market leader turned for home, with Curragh Na Gold hot on their heels before the latter crashed out at the second-last, where Altiepix jumped into a clear lead and Bryan Cooper kept him up to his work to see off Thekingofconnemara by a length and a half.
Meanwhile, Side Saddle led her rivals a merry dance in the mares' maiden hurdle, the 5/1 shot stole a couple of lengths rounding the turn for home and that proved decisive because try as Jodies Miss might, she could get never closer than the official length-and-three-quarter margin.
